Ford introduced its newest SUV vehicle, the 2020 Ford Kuga. The car is introduced earlier this year in an Auto Show. Based on the showcase at the Auto Show, we can many great improvements made to the car as the last update of the car made in 2017. The car actually was released back in 2006 as the first crossover made by Ford who at that time known for making truck and pickup vehicle. Since its release, it has been creating great numbers in terms of sell. There is huge possibility that the newest version of the car will also mark the same number with the specs the company given to this new car.
2020 Ford Kuga Exterior and Interior Redesign
There are many improvements made to the car in the newest 2020 Ford Kuga both on the exterior and interior. For the exterior look, the changes include new grille with chrome accent surround. As an addition to the grille, the lamps are also get redesign both on the headlamps and the taillights. The grille and the headlights are such a nice complementor for the new look of the front fascia.
There are many colors to be chosen for the car. As the car come in many trims, SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST version, the color option for the cars are also different. The Titanium is available in 10 colors for the exterior and two colors for the interior. The ST however has less color option with only 6 color options. The standard wheels for the car is using 20-inch wheels, but there are also options such as 19-inch wheels for the Platinum Version and the 21-inch alloy black wheels for the ST version.
The car uses the smart and modern concept for the car. This is caused by no reason as the car is equipped with the latest technology. The transmission for the car isn’t using the paddle system anymore as Ford change it to the Rotary Gear Shift Dial. The gear also has the automatic car setup for easier use. Besides that, it also provides Wi-Fi with 50-foot range that can connect up to 10 devices. The car also provides wireless charging located in front of Rotary Gear.
2020 Ford Kuga Engine Specs
The engine for the 2020 Ford Kuga is the same as the 2017 version. It is the 2.7-liter V6 Eco Boost engine. However, the power of the engine has been increased by 20 HP from 315 Horse Power in the 2017 Kuga Sport to the 335 Horse Power in the 2020 version. As for the torque, it will remain the same with 380 pounds-feet of torque. The car makes the All-Wheel-Drive as the standard system of the car.
On the lower version of the car, there is 2.0-liter Eco Boost V4 with direct-injection turbocharged engine. This engine car produces approximately 250 Horse Power which also an increased of 5 HP than the previous model. The torque will remain the same which is 275 pounds-feet of torque. Both the engine will be using 8-speed automatic transmission.
2020 Ford Kuga Price and Release Date
Ford announce that they will be start the sale of the car on Summer this year. Unfortunately, they haven’t the announce officially yet about the price of the 2020 Ford Kuga.
