2020 Ford GT was just released earlier this year in the 2020 Detroit Auto Show. On the Auto Show, Ford also introduce the limited model of the 2020 Ford GT Bullitt to commemorate 50 years since the debut of Steve McQueen. Taken design from the 2020 GT model, the car come in the shade of green which the design reminds the visitors with the car back then. The limited-edition GT Bullitt has more power compare to regular V8 engine. Besides the limited edition, Ford also offers the other trim from the Ford GT.
2020 Ford GT Exterior and Interior Redesign
Since the car come in various trim, every single trim has its own characteristic. However, there are standard features that all car owns. Ford let the buyers choose among 30 colors as the exterior and interior. The design of the 2020 Ford GT will also be sharper and more aggressive line. The design of the car truly emphasizes on the sporty look. The front fascia will get some rework done like new mesh grille and the modern LED headlights. It is using 19-inch wheels with alloy wheels options on the upper trim.
The interior will bring classy, modern and sporty look with sleek look on the dashboard. The higher trim even brings more luxury to the interior cabin. Just like any other cars from Ford, it will be equipped with latest technology like the SYNC 3 infotainment, Ford+Alexa technology, 12-inch LCD and many more.
The driver can choose the drive mode of the car whether it is Normal, Comfort or the Sport. Every setting will adjust the seat and the roof of the car. There is also Snow/Wet mode to help sure-footed traction on the slippery road.
2020 Ford GT Engine Specs
The engine for the 2020 Ford GT will remain the same with the 2020 version. The difference is located at the limited version of the GT Bullitt. The regular engine come in two options to be chosen. The first as the base engine is the 2.3-liter Eco Boost engine with the torque up to 350 pounds-feet.
The other option is the 5.0-liter V8 engine, creating 460 Horse Power and 420 pounds-feet of torque. The limited-edition GT Bullitt will be using the same 5.0-liter V8 engine, but Ford increase its power up to 475 this time. The Bullitt can reach the speed up to 163 mph. Both the engine above will be paired with 10-speed automatic transmission.
2020 Ford GT Price and Release Date
With the introduction of the Ford GT Bullitt, Ford also introduces the other trim of the car. Thus, it is expected that the car will start on sale in October this year. The price of the car still remains unknown but seeing that there is no major change from the previous model, it will remain at the same range of price. The base model of the 2020 Ford GT can be purchased with around $25.000 and it can reach up to $64.000 for the best trim which is the Shelby GT350R.
