Rumor has it that the new 2020 BMW X3 will come with several changes both on the exterior and in the interior. Even though the details about the engine have not been released yet, it is expected that the current available engine will get some improvements. Thus, the performance will be better.
2020 BMW X3 Interior and Exterior Redesign
The interior of the new 2020 BMW X3 receives several changes from the current model. In the inside, it can be noticeable that the new model has revised steering wheel. The steering wheel on the new model has longer bottom spoke than that of the current model. Further, it also features silver buttons and a silver insert over the bottom spoke.
Some reports are saying that the cabin will also receive some changes. In addition to it, the instrument cluster and the infotainment system are probably improved. Even so, the automaker has not released the details about it. As for the cabin space, the new BMW X3 provides increased space for hip and legroom with adequate cargo room and passenger space.
Some reports manage to see the spy shots for the new BMW X3. They reported that the new model will have better appearance than the current model. At the front side, the kidney grilles will remain there. For the 2020 model, the grille might be larger than that of the current model.
The running light LED is expected to be revised as well. Besides the LED running lights, the headlamps might also get some improvements. To the sides, the upper body line runs straight from the fender back. It gives the appearance a more attractive look in some ways.
2020 BMW X3 Engine Specs
As for the engine lineup, the information has not been out yet. Some reports predict that the current engine options will remain with subtle improvements. Some reports also mention that at least the new BMW X3 will be available in several gasoline options and one diesel option.
The current model is powered a 2.0 L turbocharged four-banger which is capable of producing 240 horsepower. The second engine is a turbocharged 3.0 L which makes 300 horsepower. Further, the current model is also available in a diesel turbocharged four-cylinder diesel.
2020 BMW X3 Competitor
It is expected that the new 2020 BMW X3 will face some tough competitors. One of many on the list is the Land Rover Evoque. The Land Rover Evoque gets updated headlights as well as some improvements on the interior. Thus, this model can be in a fierce competition with the upcoming 2020 X3.
